Joanna Heaney brings over three decades of global nursing experience to Vitality Infusions. Trained in Wales and specialized in Critical Care and ICU medicine, her career spans leadership roles in Bermuda, the UK, and aboard the Queen Mary II. A certified instructor in Advanced and Basic Life Support, Joanna also teaches IV therapy at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital. As founder of Vitality Infusions, she combines her clinical expertise and commitment to patient-centered care to help every client achieve better health through evidence-based, high-quality infusion therapy.
Diane Moore, Nurse

With more than 30 years of nursing experience, Diane Moore is an expert in infusion therapy and vascular access. She has served across Bermuda’s healthcare system, including the Department of Health, and the Department of Corrections. Her diverse background also includes roles as an Aesthetic and Cosmetic Surgery Nurse. Diane is certified in wound care, IV therapy, and CPR instruction, and is known for her precision, compassion, and dedication to advancing patient care through skill, empathy, and continuous learning.
Alien Frias, Nurse
RN | IV Therapy Specialist
Alien is a highly accomplished Registered Nurse with 10 years of experience providing specialized care across many areas of nursing. Alien’s clinical foundation is robust, built through extensive work in Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Stroke care and as an Intravenous Resource Nurse. She brings critical expertise from her experience in Oncology/Palliative Medicine, where she excelled in symptom management, end-of-life planning, and providing vital emotional support to patients and families. Alien possesses specialized proficiency in all aspects of IV therapy, including the management of PICC lines, Midlines, Central Lines, and Apheresis procedures. This expertise underscores her commitment to patient safety and the mastery of complex technical skills essential for patients receiving specialized treatments like transfusions and infusions.

Dr. Annabel Fountain, Medical Director
Dr. Fountain’s expertise centers on managing both inpatient and outpatient cases of Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. She is highly skilled in the use of innovative treatments, pharmacological agents, and technologies for diabetes management, emphasizing lifestyle changes and weight management. Her special interests include diabetic foot disease, pregnancy-related diabetes, and preventing diabetic kidney and eye complications.
Throughout her career, Dr. Fountain has pioneered initiatives like Bermuda’s Diabetic Foot Clinic and led the first audit of inpatient diabetes care. She played a key role in the WHO’s STEPS survey on chronic disease risk factors in Bermuda. Her leadership includes serving as President of the Bermuda Medical Doctors Association and earning a fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians—an accolade awarded to the world’s most innovative physicians.
Dr. Fountain is an active speaker at international symposia and a dedicated community advocate, working with local organizations to promote health, improve care standards, and shape Bermuda’s healthcare policies.
